Customs procedures are all the necessary legal steps to follow for the acceptance of goods into a country. Custom districts are responsible for controlling foreign trade operations in ports, airports and border stations with the aim of controlling the international traffic of goods that are imported and exported to and from a foreign country. Customs is a control entity in charge of regulating the entrance of merchandises into the country and their export abroad, goods that by their nature could affect national production, public health, peace or security of a nation.
